Sherry’s expertise in Business Operations and Customer Success includes developing strategies that improve operational functions and building strong teams that understand the importance of collaboratively implementing strategies that support organizational visions and goals. Her dedication to make a difference in communities means working tirelessly to advocate for a culture of inclusivity and provide those with disadvantages access to helpful resources. An example of such a commitment is her volunteer work at the Los Angeles based Dangerfield Institute of Urban Problems where she assists transitional aged youths with housing, substance use, life skills, and goal setting.
Sherry leverages her effective leadership skills with a “rolling up sleeves" approach by working in the trenches with teams with a laser focus to achieve desired outcomes. Her full comprehension of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the need to invoke its rights at any given moment, is evident during her daily interactions with impacted individuals who need support with equal opportunity and accessibility. Sherry's commitment to building community and promoting wellness is evident to those who have the pleasure of knowing her.

Gena has extensive years in community engagement, social justice and public safety. Her decades long service in law enforcement as a Lieutenant for the Los Angeles Police Department, makes her an expert in what a fair and equitable division of resources, opportunities, and privileges in society should be.
From people with behavioral challenges to gang affiliates to the underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, Gena supports a number of efforts to let people know their shared commonality and value as citizens.
Her interpersonal specialty is evident in her other nonprofit initiatives, Children’s Institute Inc. in Los Angeles and its internal program, Children Exposed to Gun Violence.
